VIAGRA (Sildenafil) 100 mg 4 Film-Coated Tablets
Introduction
The success rate of Viagra is up to 90%. Viagra works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to enter the blood vessels and raise the pressure. Viagra also maintains blood pressure in the penis, which helps to maintain erections and for a healthy sex life.
March 1998 Viagra was the first oral medication prescribed in the United States for men with impotence or erectile dysfunction. More than 100,000 prescriptions were written for men with impotence in the first week after Viagra was launched. Within a few months, Viagra was prescribed to more than two million patients with erectile dysfunction. Since its launch, Viagra has successfully treated erectile dysfunction and has earned a worldwide reputation for its reliability. "Viagra has successfully helped millions of men with erectile dysfunction and their female partners achieve sexual satisfaction.
Dosage and use
Viagra should be taken approximately 30-60 minutes before sexual intercourse. Most people take 100 mg once daily, but it can be taken up to three times daily. Viagra helps the body's natural mechanisms produce an erection for up to four hours. Certain foods can alter the absorption rate of Viagra, so it is best taken on an empty stomach and with water. Viagra does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation or arousal.
Take half or one tablet one hour before sexual intercourse. The maximum recommended dose is once daily.
However, in patients with hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, or over 65 years of age, the dose should be limited to 25 mg (¼ tablet) because increased serum concentrations of sildenafil increase the effectiveness and incidence of side effects.
