Mode of Action

Tadalafil (Apcalis SX oral jelly) is an oral medication used for the treatment of impotence (inability to achieve or maintain an erection) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It belongs to a group called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, which also includes sildenafil citrate and vardenafil hydrochloride.

An erection occurs when the penis fills with blood. This enzyme is primarily responsible for transporting blood to the penis and increasing or decreasing the size of blood vessels causing an erection. When another enzyme, phosphodiesterase 5, destroys cGMP, the blood vessels return to their original size, the blood leaves the penis, and the erection ends.

Tadalafil prevents phosphodiesterase 5 from destroying cGMP, so cGMP is retained longer. cGMP's continued presence allows more time for blood to fill the penis.

Apcalis Oral Jelly (Tadalafil Jelly Generic) is usually taken as needed approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity. ·         Patients with blood pressure disorders such as hypertension, hypotension, or severely impaired autonomic control.

When can I start using Apcalis?

Tadalafil Oral Solution should be taken as needed, usually at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
